I'm looking to purchase a '72 to '79 Correct Craft and need some advice about variations of models. What is the difference between a Ski Tique and a Mustang? Also, which a models have the opening windshield vent? I prefer the deck design with that is raised underneath the windshield, which models have that?

Follow yellowdog's advice and visit the Reference Section.

The windsheild design your talking about was the design on Mustangs, Martiniques, and American Skiers from 1974-1979.

The main difference between these models where length and inter design.

Mustang - 16'- 17' length, 76" beam - plush interior with ski racks on each side, ski equipment not standard although many are found with ski pole, standard engine is smaller V8 (ex. Ford 302)

Martinique - 18' length, 76" beam - plush interior with ski racks on each side, ski equipment not standard although many are found with ski pole, standard engine is larger V8 (ex. Ford 351)

American Skier - 17' length, 76" beam - not as plush - ski equipment standard (ski pole, large mirror, one tournament speedo, etc.), ski rack on each side, standard engine is smaller V8 (ex. Ford 302)

Ski Tique - 16' - 16'5" length, 70" beam - smaller version of Ski Nautique - does not have raised windsheild base - not as plush - no ski racks, ski equipment standard (ski pole, large mirror, one tournament speedo, etc.), standard engine is larger V8 (ex. Ford 351).
