I had two quarts of no wax gelcoat set aside for my decks and both are bad. They only sat about a month in the garage (which is hot)
If i wanted to piss away that money i would have preferred to drink it.
Rats..

I could have bought a good bottle of booze and a case of beer instead.

It must be how you stored it. I have some mini craft gel that they say is only good for something like 6 months, going on about 4 or 5 years. I keep it in the garage where it's cold but not freezing in the winter somewhat cool in the summer. I also use a product called Bloxygen on all my gel and automotive paints. You'll have to google it,I'm on my pad and can't figure it out.

I know Gary, I should have put in the beer fridge. Just because it's my fault doesn't mean I cant complain about it. I learned that from my wife and kids. I use Duratech which I think is the same thing. No wax needed hard and glossy finish?

I hear you John, when I first bought some it was 85 a qt and I could handle that. The last time I got a qt it was 135! Correct on the duratech but I have used it only on gel that already had wax. I ended up using half of what they said to mix don't know if that was because of the wax already in there.
