Does anyone have experience of a "quad-ski" from Gibbs ? The quad bike thing which also is a jet ski. I'm thinking of buying one for quick coastal use when not poss to launch the Sport Nautique.
Just wondered if they are reliable? Any good for towing a wakeboard? Whatever? Thanks, Gerymor |

I can't speak for the materials used to build those (affordably) but it seems like saltwater would annihilate them. They should trim the last 50 seconds of black screen off the intro video...

Yes, true. But IF it means I can get on the water in the evenings when the Nautique is locked up in the 'park+launch' facility then my new found love of 'air-chairing' might actually advance some!
Has anybody got actual experience of one of these quadskis? Would really like to hear about it. Thanks. |

I've owned many skis and that thing is a POS if you ask me.
You could buy a slightly used 3 seater SeaDoo RXT, GTI or GTX for about $7-8K that can easily pull a skier or wakeboarder. I do believe the supercharged versions were running upwards of 155-185 HP depending on the year and model. Like this or this |

You could get a new ski and a UTV to pull it with and still have basically a lifetime worth of gas money left over. That's an old idea and that always ends the same way, costs too much and doesn't perform at either task very well.
