Dear all,
I own a correct craft 2001 and I notice from last season that my RPM gauge is not showing any more RMP value. Always show 0. How can I diagnose step by step where the issue come from? Is it the RMP gauge which is out, or any other stuff at motor side ? Thanks for advise Reagards |

Easiest way is with another tach. My original tach burnt out inside. However in your case it could be the wire from the coil to the dash. My money is on the tach though.

On the motor side it's connected to the distributor. You either have 2 or 3 wires coming off the dizzy. 12V power, Tach signal wire, and possibly a ground. Not all dizzys use a ground wire, some ground straight to the motor through the dizzy body. |
