Just picked up a 1999 Nautique, Can the whole rear seat come out? The center cushion removed easily but the rest seems like it is mounted? Most boats the rear just slides in and out? Again new to Nautiques.... Thanks.

Jason,
If it went in, it will come out! Others will confirm but I'd say the seat backs are held in with what we call Christmas trees. Its a two way barbed plastic fastener that pushes in to both the seat back and the glass behind it. Replacements are available. Christine's is a good source. Have you ever removed a panel off the door of a car or truck? If so, think the same.

99 Ski? can not remember if that was the year we made the trunk model or 2000.
If not trunk model There are not any X-mass Trees. The back of the stern seat is slid down over some SS tabs. The seat base should have some kind of pin or fastener into the stringer aluminum angle through the center floor board, and maybe a couple of snubber type hold downs on the ends. Most all promo boats of that time ran only the rear seat back and removed the base.
Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.
