Is yours beyond refinishing? They're pretty simple to fix if its just the finish.

Yes my handle is pretty bad the sun shines on that side of my boat when its on the lift . Can someone tell me how it comes off. I am talking about the wood ball on top of the handle. Thanks .

Screws off. It may be slightly stuck, but it will unscrew.

A little light sanding, some quick stain and varnish and she'll look brand new. Mine came out great.

I kind of want to do the same to the knob on the mustang. Is it the same concept? Just unscrew it?

The knob on the '91 was epoxied on..... take off the MV-2 lever (with the knob in place) and sand/stain/finish to taste........... easy peasy!
