So, over the weekend I somehow broke my throttle control on my Nautique. It is an MV-1 throttle. Looking for just the lever/knob, but I will pay for a complete throttle control. Any help on locating a replacement would be super.
Thanks, Mitch. |

They weren't Much help but I did find this part on Ebay that might work. Anyone know if this would fit the MV1?

Idk about that one but unless you're in a super hurry, that's over priced. About once a month I see a decent ones come across eBay for $100

Sorry I wasn't much help... Not sure why the brand new assy for $70 I sent you wouldn't work if you just need the arm as you previously stated?
I had 2 full morse controls listed for sale for over a year here before they sold for <$50. Timing is everything I guess. |

It just looks like the one that you sent me seems like the shaft part is a little bit over sized for the hole. Also, it is in the UK so that is unappealing due to shipping time.

The lever is the same, I wouldn't have sent it otherwise. It attaches to the splined throttle shaft via allen head set screw (same as original).

Post us a picture of what you have there in the boat for a throttle/shifter and a close-up of the splined shaft that goes inside the housing? Some measurements would help. Are you sure the Allen Screw in the handle, TRBenj took the time to send you, is backed out of the splined hole far enough to allow the handle splines to line up and slide on????

To clarify better, I need the throttle lever and the throttle shaft. The throttle got ripped out of the boat late at night when the rope wrapped around the throttle and pulled it out breaking the throttle shaft inside the throttle assy.
I keep forgetting to take pics to explain it. Sorry about that. |

Ah, if you need the shaft then you're best off buying a complete control. All mv1-2 throttles I've seen (regardless of housing style) use the same internals. The one you linked above would be fine, for instance.

I really appreciate the input and the feedback being so prompt. I'll show pics of the initial and the finished project when it gets done!
