See paul waters 63 classic in the diaries sect...he has done just that. The morse control hand throttle can be mounted on the side of the gunwhale.....you will need to cut out an area through the glass that matches the contol housing section and drill 3 holes. It should not entail much!
I am considering doing the same on my 62. The control units are offered on ebay fequently! |

Did it on my 67 Mustang. The gas pedal was cool but difficult to keep constant spped in wake and no way to seat on back of seat and drive. Easy to do...as described above.

Could use an century type cable thru dash. You can push center button and pull or rotate for fine adjustment.
My buddy Wally's mustang has been converted to single hand, typical nautique style shift and throtle the gas pedal and cable are still in place we have tried to think of a way to have both hooked up so if you needed a little speed in the corner you could use the foot feed and then let it come back to the set speed on the hand control looked at all kinds of tranny kick down cables etc. so far just an idea though good luck MUNDAY |

The older style had longer handles...later 70's and up were shorter...look through diaries sect and see what looks good!
On ebay...look for a single Three position...rev , nuetral,forward...side mount style. I see them all the time and have purchsed a couple. You can repaint the housing too. |

Mv2 is a new one and will work great...
if you want to keep it retro(and spend much less)....see item # 4649856354 on ebay. That one is the late 60's and 70's long handle ....a new knob and your rollin! I have purchased two recently ...each for under well $50.00 The black housing can be painted if needed! |
