Actually I think Lake Elmo has a used one for sale that may work.

Both Lake Elmo and Weyers Custom Handles sells the KW release's. You could also check with Ron Beeman (in FL) who also makes releases.

Good Luck

I don't see anything under Used at Lake Elmo.

You're looking for 2" diameter, the spot below the rope notch and above the full thickness of the pylon.

For trick or swivel you can use rope, else bite the bullet and buy a release before someone gets hurt.

Elbert's (A.R.E Manufacturing) also used to make releases called GUARDIAN.

The Lake Elmo' used release may have been on FB under show ski equipment for sale (?). In any event a call to Chick will clarify if they have a used release and whether or not it will fit the application

Finally looked at this on my computer monitor zoomed in and I do think this is for a 2" pylon... It's tightened down further than it will be on the pylon, need to measure the diameter up and down, with the split (which does not change), and maybe not blocking the actual diameter...
