Hi, can somebody provide a link to the 6 hex bolts that are found on a steering wheel of a 1995 Sport. Mine are quite corroded and I want to replace them.

I also want to repaint the steering wheel, any suggestions on what to use (I know very little about painting).

Paul,
I assume when you ask about painting the helm wheel, you mean the spokes? I can't tell from the picture you posted but is there any corrosion? Prep is the key. A light sanding with 400 paper would be the minimum but if there is corrosion, then a heavier sanding to remove it would be needed. Mask the areas that you don't want painted and then a solvent wipe. Aerosol cans would be more than adequate and convenient. I'd suggest a primer first and I happen to like a self etching primer. You probably won't find it at a hardware store but an auto parts supply will have it. Then a top coat using the same brand as the primer. Spray a light coat first and let the vehicle (solvent) flash off for several minutes before a heavier coat. Follow the directions on the can for both the primer and top coat for the specifics.

Thanks Pete, thus is just what I was looking for.

Yes, I mean painting the spokes. I don't think the steering wheel is corroded, its in storage so I can't check it. It's just quite faded and I think it would look like new with new hex bolts and a paint.
