Muffler

I am hoping to keep the 75 Ski Nautique, but Mrs Seacamper is complaining about the noise. Will the above mufflers just take the place of the straight pipes I am running now?

Tom,
A mouth gag for you wife would work even better!
Seriously, the mufflers will knock down the noise. Doesn't you 75 have mufflers?

Fresh Air exhaust is pretty quiet too. Easy to install & you can take it off when you go to CCF reunions.

I tried the gag, but she seemed to like it so I got scared! Anyhow, no the 75 has straight pipes. They appear to be brass.

Hey Chris,
I had to google search that. I like the idea, but the $520 will probably be a show stopper, not that those mufflers are cheap!!

I have FAE on my 82 SN and it works great for noise. If you consider it, send me a PM I think I just got a $100 off for a "refer a friend" promo. I'll look at my email. pretty sure I got one last week. I'd be happy to pass it along if you want. Price also depends on a fully welded unit or one that is rubber couplings and clamps. I have the clamp version, welded wasn't an option when I got mine. Ive never had any issues and only took about 30-45 minutes to install.

Thanks Jason,
Let me talk to FAE by phone and see what they say about a 75 SN. I also need to get the idea past the Mrs.

Just add mufflers... Even the small can style (under $200) will knock down the sound a good bit.
