Battery Drain on 2004 Air Nautique 216 Team

Just purchased a 2004 model 216 Team Edition. This is my first Ski Nautique. I put in a new battery. I hooked up a Battery Tender with the battery in the boat but it never went to "green." I pulled the battery out of the boat and put it back on the battery tender in the garage. After a day, the Battery Tender went green and battery tested good.

I put the battery back in the boat and tested for a parasitic drain. I am showing 0.9A drain. I was suspecting milliamps of drain, not almost a full amp.

There are three wires running to the positive post. One large one is to the engine compartment. The second looks to be a dedicated wire for the stereo. It has a 40 amp fuse. When I pull that fuse, the amp draw does not change, still 0.9A. The third wire is fused with a 30 amp fuse. It feeds power to the dash and other areas. When I pull that fuse I get a slight spark and the amp draw goes away.

I was going to start pulling/flipping circuit breakers to try and isolate the drain but the breaker panel seems to just have breakers covered with clear rubber covers and no obvious way to pull them, only push them back in if they pop.

I am hoping you can help me with some questions:

a. Any trick to pulling/tripping each breaker?
b. Any thoughts on common problems that might cause this drain on the battery?

My 04 ski did the same thing. It was the amp also. I rewired it to the master switch and now have been dead battery free for two years. Prior to that I was nicknamed "dead battery Bill"
