I have a 99 ski natique with the fuel injected GT40 ford motor in it. I'm having a problem with not starting when it's warmed up. It will crank over OK, but the elec. fuel pump doesn't energize, and I have no spark either. After it sits for a while it will eventually restart and run just fine. Has anyone encountered this problem?

I believe the fuel pump should energize and run for no more than 5 secs, probably much less, each time the ignition is turned "ON". If your pump does not do this, when you are experiencing the problem, then I would suspect a faulty fuel pump relay that fails when hot.
