Hello,
I will be installing my new steering cable in my 1980 Ski Nautique in the next couple days. What is involved with alignment of the steering wheel? I have done searches but there is no mention of setup other than just pulling the cable out and pulling the new cable through. Is it just a matter of connecting the two ends? Thanks |

install the same way you remove, if you put the cable thru the top section of whatever that things called lol the steering will be backwards.IM talking about the gear assembly behind the dash. its also a good time to repack the rudder while your in the back of the boat turning wrenches ,
