Hey again!

So I'm planning on antifouling my ski nautique soon, but I noticed these scratches recently.

are they easily filled with a normal gelcoat repair set? or do I need to use a polyester repair set? I'm kinda unsure what the difference is :/

So I fill these up and then later apply the primer (Primocom?)

Thanks in advance!

Arnaud,
Why the anti fouling? Is Kristof drinking lots of the great beers you have over there and then doing something in the lake again? We don't have many members who use bottom paint in fact, I'd have to say we have more who remove it than apply it! Here's a start. Take a look at the many videos Jamestown has.

Agree with Pete on no need for antifouling.paint. If you want to fix the scars, i would 1st scrub hull with an acid solution ( like Works toilet cleaner).

Then feather out the gouges that go all the way through ( I wouldn't worry about the shallow ones).

Use a universal gel coat kit & match the color as close as you can. No need for any primer as long as you have sanded the repair area.

Happy cruising.

Well, I can't find a picture of it, but when I took it out, it was absolutely covered in greens. Had a really hard time scrubbing it off. Also, I noticed it's got a little osmosis going on :/ for those 2 reasons I'd like to put anti fouling on it.
