Picked up an engine for the next project, whatever that ends up being.
Ford 351 Cleveland    Should be a neat candidate to put in something
Too wide to fit under the Mustang cover.

Gary, Actually the guy that owned the engine had that handy. I made mine. But I'm sure Pete will pick up on that. lol

That engine has a lot of potential. Maybe a stroker motor.

That's the plan Todd. Still in the parts gathering stage. Going to go with a closed cooling system too. I'm not in any hurry, the 302 in it is running fine but being in the salt I know it wont last forever. They are not real easy to find, this one supposedly has a bad piston. The PO started collecting parts and pulled of some items and bagged them. He then decided just to repower. What helped the sale was the new GT40 heads and the new cam and lifters

I just sold my engine hoist but it was from Northern Tool. Still, it was probably built by the same company in China that supplies the HF units!! Yes, pretty cheap and yes, there's no way I could have purchased the materials to build one myself for less. I no longer needed it once I moved up here and having the hoists and W beams in the shop.

Duane,
Interesting engine. Keep us informed on the build.
