My display seems to be shot. Fades in and out when boat is cold then as electrics warm up, display fails completely. Tried sealing the electrics inside display but that hasn't improved it.
When you can read the dsiplay, all data seems fine so pretty sure it's the display and not the master module so I'm looking for one of these displays please if anyone has one! I don't want to spend the cash upgrading to Stargazer; we're not course skiers. Thanks, Calum

I might be wrong but I believe you can still get that display new without having to “upgrade” to StarGazer. I say “upgrade” because more like a lateral grade. It’s the single line displays that are getting tough to find. Have you called PP? Their customer service is superior. In the past we’ve had fair luck opening those displays and drying them out with hair dryer and dehumidifier. The used multi line units come available time to time due to ZO downgrades, I’d try eBay and ballofspray.com.

Thanks for the tips; their website says that you need to upgrade but I've emailed them in case they have one lying around.
I tried thoroughly drying out the display then sealing the electrics from furthe rmoisture but it isn't any better unfortunately. I'm watching ebay/BoS but there haven't been any that I've spotted recently. Cheers! |

I was always under the impression all multi lines were interchangeable whether SG or not...

Emailed PP and they got back to me straight away. They need the serial no from the master module to know if the display can be replaced without upgrading.
Just a case of waiting for the snow to melt and waking up the boat I guess to get the serial no! |
