Mark,
Do you mean stencils (paint mask) for hull side graphics? If so, I feel you will not be able to find them. Are any graphics still visible? They can be traced and then a vinyl sign shop can make paint masks from the tracing. Are you in the process of restoration? tell us more and post some pictures. |

If you can see the old graphic ghosting, you could also tape them off and repaint them with rustoleum. Looks a little complex but it could be done and at least it is single color (what I see in the brochure). I like a vinyl tape for that process. 1/4"-1/2" for the longer lines and curves and 1/8" for the tight curves. Good luck, and yes, pics please.

All of the stencil was buffed off so I nee some sort of stencil or guideline to go by.

Mark,
Sorry to hear the graphics were buffed off. A PO? The early 80's Southwinds weren't a model with large production numbers so finding one to copy/trace the hull graphics is going to be a challenge. Have you checked the diary section for other Southwind owners? .

Mark,
I just did a search in the diary section. Between 79 and 82, 22 Southwinds pop up. I suggest trying to get in touch with any of them who would be willing to trace the hull graphics. |
