Weather in general has me pretty frustrated here in the center of the US. If we aren't suffering drought, wishing we could get some rain to fill the lakes at least a little bit - such as last year - we are having the current perpetual rain storm that doesn't seem to let up for more than a day or two and the lakes are so full you can't, or shouldn't get your boat out on them.

I've been ready to get my boat on the water for 5 or 6 weeks now and aside from one weekend that we had to be out of town for a family wedding, it's either been raining nonstop all weekend or it WAS raining nonstop all week and there's no way to even get to the boat ramp.

I just had to vent a little to someone ... my wife and son are tired of hearing me gripe.

Don't feel bad it's been crappy in AZ also. Went to our lake the last two weekends and didn't even get in the water. Went to our usual afternoon beer drinking cove and got stuck in a hail storm. If I wasn't freezing my butt off I would have taken a picture of the backseat of my boat filled up with hail. Never thought I would be wishing for 100 degree weather to arrive.

LOL .... I know what you mean!   Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not a cool weather guy (let alone cold weather) but when the temps around here get to about 90 the humidity does also. So at 100+ it's usually pretty miserable. But at least you can get the boat on the water and have some fun.   You've got me beat though - can't say I've ever had the boat filled with hail .

Lakes are sky here in the thumb of Michigan as well. Dock is about level with the lake. I add weight on the dock so it doesn't float away with the boat wakes.
Feels like I am hanging 10 but in reality - probably hanging 6.

Utah has had a SUPER wet year. No complaints as we're coming off several years of drought conditions. Lakes and reservoirs are forecasted to be full, but skiing has been close to non-existent. Mother Nature has frowned on waterskiing so far this year (snow skiing has been outstanding!)

We have a slight break in thunderstorms, so I'm headed out to the course tomorrow morning (Utah Lake). Water temps are much colder than normal for this time of year also.
Fingers crossed...

Finally! We had a bit of wind but we had sun from noon on. The crew is still out there but the wife and I had enough sun for the week. Wow was I getting anxious this am. Drove everyone nuts. Maybe ski the next few days too.

Well things turned on us again with yet more rain the past couple of days and more on tap for tomorrow. Not sure when I'll be getting out there now as my lake is at an all time high, sitting at several inches above the top of the flood pool     In the photo above the water has now encroached into several more parking spaces - there's no telling how long it will take for the level to go down far enough to even see the ramp, let alone feel safe driving out there. Yup.... I'm going nuts too

My dock is now 2 inches UNDER water . Hope the weights hold . Actually it is not that bad right now with the boat wakes because it is under water . Will be a little trying when it is just above the water line . That is when the wakes will pop under the dock to try a lift it up .

I wish there was! Unfortunately all the lakes anywhere within 3 hours of driving are not only full, but over full, just like my closest, go-to lake. WHICH by the way crested yesterday at nearly 2 feet over flood stage and the dealership has standing water in the showroom. and with another few inches last night, I'm thinking the week that you spoke of is looking more like 2 or so.

We have our latest first ski and latest start to the season I can recall. It’s not Summer it’s Slimmer. These last few days were all we have had to work with but we don’t normally flood out even though we have had record rain for May.

I’m hoping for all of you we get a long Fall!

Just to make all of you feel better we were rained and cold weathered off our lakes this weekend in California also.   We are nearly 30 degrees colder than normal this weekend.
A very strange Memorial Day in CA.
Memorial Day here can be 100 degrees or 65, for this reason I have quit planning any trips on Memorial Day.   We did enjoy a very nice BBQ with friends and the Natural air conditioning was working great. Hope you guys had a great weekend.

Here in northern NY after a long snowy cold winter we now are having a long cold wet spring. haven't skied yet, boat went in Memorial day which was hot, 61 degrees but whitecaps so no skiing. Yesterday was 47 am with rain, dropped to 44 at noon with rain & back to 47 by pm with rain. Water temp 56, hard to get psyched to get in and ski.

Hot, yes , it's all relative. Finally got a ski ride down the lake and back last evening, Air 58, water 59 but at least it was mostly calm. Shorty worked just fine. http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

Yes I'm afraid it is Braden. And just when it seems to be receding a little the close the flood gates to about 1/4 and there is yet more rain slated for the entirety of the next week!   This is CRAZY!!

This is the aerial scene a few days ago. As you can see 2/3 of the launch parking is under water and by the looks of it the launch courtesy dock is too!

That certainly is a lot of water and from the looks of it there is more on the way.
At this point I would take rain as long as it was a reasonable temperature too.
Right now June 3rd 2019 it is 42 degrees(at noon) raining with a 20mph wind. This is northern NY but this is ridiculous, We had warmer days in February!
