Anyone do motor repair? Have a 1987 ski natique 2oo1 series that was left outside over the winter and fluid not drained and freeze plugs popped. Boat doesn't run but water doesn't seem to be in the oil and block doesn't seem to be cracked. Looking to hire someone to see if they can get it running so we can sell it. Renee (or Ed),
To just get the engine running, you really don't need a marine specific mechanic. Is there anyone who has worked on the engine before? We do have some members who live in your area so see if any will respond. The alternate would be to just call around. Is the boat on a trailer and can it be towed someplace? |
