There is a very cool Debonnaire being auctioned on Bring A Trailer. It looks like it should be left just as it is and displayed in a museum,

NO!!! LOL. We did see that boat in Tavares, it's a really neat boat but needs to be left exactly as it is. It's a time capsule for sure but like most of them probably not worth much money.

Great looking boat. Wonder if the Bring A Trailer magic will go to work on this one. Collector cars have been bringing astonishing money on that site.

Be fun to have, get it running, and use it just as is, but sadly, the hull looks like if you backed it off the trailer, it would just continue on that same trajectory to the bottom of the lake.

Agreed that is cool, that's got to be the highest and best use of that boat at this point - having it go through what it would take to make it water worthy would wash off most of the cool

Very good place for it to end up and leave it just as it is.. Someone made a lot of money on that one because it sold for a lot less than that a few months ago when it was purchased out of the old Southeast Correct Craft collection.

The bidding all happened in the last 5 min between one guy and the curator of the HS. Unfortunately it got bid up.. maybe a private investor came to play??
