I’m wondering what a good method is for strapping the transom down on my 84 2001. How’s this way look strapped from the swim platform to the taillight bracket, anyone else doing it this way? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Lq5JDxn1EY4PwicwQs6-mI_0E4ZGF6uE/view?usp=drivesdk

On my 87 2001 and my 85 BFN for long trips I used a 2" wide 10k rachet strap from the frame of the trailer and across the boat about the rear seat. Couple towels under it at the gunnels for protection and never had a problem.
Those swim platform brackets are only lagged into the transom so a big bounce could cause some problems. |
