Nicely done!
![]() I am about to tackle mine after I finish installing the new Oak stairs in the house. ![]() Last year I got the platform in great shape and kept applying Watco until it would not absorb anymore. It looked beautiful, until the first time I got on it to ski. Like a skating rink. I did not sand it, only brushed it to clean before applying. This year will not be so liberal with the Watco. ![]() |

Yep, doesn't take much. I sanded with 100, then 220. Then a coat of Watco, wiped it. Let dry for an hour. Then hit it with 320, then two more applications and I let it fully dry in between. The key being to wipe off the excess after application, and let it fully soak in and dry before the next application.
