Hello all,

Long time no see! I have left New York for warmer waters and I am now the Lead International technician for Miami Nautique International. Since the day I started here I have missed the antique Nautiques I used to service in New York. Turns out the owner, Henrik Laursen, has always wanted one and has asked me to find a proper antique/classic Correct Craft/Nautique for Display/Special occasion use at the Greater Miami Ski Club.

Pretty open guidelines for purchase:
-Beginning of time- about 1970
-Very good to excellent Cosmetic shape
-Wood or fiberglass construction
-Very original (or at least enough to fool a novice)
-Era correct trailer (not needed but highly desired)

Optional: That it actually runs or even floats!

We would like to be able to use the boat, but its not the end of the world if it will only ever be an indoor display piece and stays indoors at our Proshop.

Let us know what you have, distance is not an issue. We have a delivery/pickup team.   PMs or posts are both good.

Thanks!
James Huss

check out the hurricane in the diary section.   It's beautiful and a runner   sounds like a perfect fit for what you're asking. Alan's Hurricane

Or maybe Art would give up Nautique #1? It should be on display especially since I understand corporate didn't want it in the lobby anymore.

Here are some thoughts: For fiberglass, I'd go with one of the early designs: Classic, Tahoe, or Gen 1 Nautique.   With your fiberglass skills you could probably add a center deck to a later gen 1 boat and make a replica of the original prototype that Alan has.

I also saw where the Correct Craft Dart plywood boat that Boat Dr. got from Southeastern Correct Craft was sold and the person that purchased it was trying to sell it. It is a very nice and unique boat. But the hurricane is the cat daddy.
