Hi all! So after having my 97 Nautique I have never heard of Correct Craft making a jet boat and then a buddy found this 1970 with a Crusader 302 and a jet drive that he got a while back. I was fascinated by this and ended up buying it being he was unable to do anything with it due to family medical issues. He was told it was a Freeport and then after some research and getting all the paperwork together the title reads 1970 Jazzy Jet.

I’m just wondering if anyone knows of these and what I really have here. I cleaned her up, put everything together and got her running like a champ! I could not resist and had new interior made which you can see in the picture.

Please let me know if anyone has any knowledge they are willing to share.

Thanks

I'll take a wild guess here and say that it's a Freeport with a Jacuzzi jet drive and that Jazzy was somebody's abbreviation when doing the paperwork a long time ago.

They were a popular jet drive unit back then

Where's the picture you refer to?

Edit.................After seeing your pictures "someplace else", it looks like a Freeport or a maybe a Swinger depending on the length of the boat

Click on the link and you'll see a Freeport Jet drive in the 72 brochure in the reference section right here on CCF

No brochure in the reference section for 70, but you get to compare to a 72

And........it looks like one of them Jazzy- cuzi jets poking out the back

link

And here's a link to the 73 brochure with a Southwind jet.

link

Some slightly different lengths and widths if you want to measure and compare.
