After a shop pulled the leaking trans from my 93 sport last fall and recommended replacing with pcm 80 I took her home to ponder for the winter. I got the new kit frome skidim last month and have decided to install it myself. The kit came with two studs and three bolts does anyone know the correct placement.

It's been about 5 years since I replaced my 40 with an 80. I don't remember off hand, but I believe if you look at the back of the engine, it will be pretty clear which require bolts and which are pins. It only worked one way if I recall. You just want to figure it out before you muscle it in. Even though the case is aluminum, my back did NOT like the effort to get it place. Removing the exhaust pipes, etc. and an extra set of hands are really helpful.
