Does anyone here have a complete wiring diagram for a 1979 barefoot nautique or know where i can get one? we are restoring this boat and cant find any info on the wiring

Here's a link to a dash wiring diagram that should be the same as your 79
It's what it would be wired like if you're laying on the floor looking at the backside of the dash
Engine wiring might be a little harder, but is fairly generic, using standardized wire colors. Good info to know would be what you have for an alternator and to verify that you have an ammeter on the dash (it was what it came with originally) and whether the engine is a Pleasurecraft or OMC marinized engine. I'm assuming it's a 454 Chevy, so if not, then telling what you have would be good too.

If your engine is a Pleasurecraft, click on the link and go to page 26 and there's a generic diagram of the engine wiring with an externally regulated alternator and the Chevy starter with the starter mounted solenoid. It should be pretty representative of yours. If it's an OMC, it would be "similar" ![]() |
