Ok so I just picked up a free san juan looks complete and the PO said it ran when last stored (youtube video of it on the SF Bay running good). I have a question regarding the motor I opened the motor hatch and the valve cover says 330 on it. I cant find much in the 330 motor. What mostly comes up is the 454 motor as it has 330hp I dont think this is the 454 as it looks different than my 79 barefoot

Based on the large number of clues provided, I'll guess that maybe there's somewhat of a chance it might be a 440 Chrysler

Otherwise a picture would be kinda handy Wink

And based on this CL ad with the same video that you posted and some words and pictures in the description saying it's a  Chrysler, I think I'm a weiner Wink

A 440 Chrysler was 330 HP

Kinda a large price drop from the ad.

I think it was listed on FB as free- I know I saw it some where as free. As soon as you see those manifolds you know it's a BB Chrysler LOL

You are right I found it in Facebook marketplace and yes I picked it for free. I haven't even got a good look at this boat but it seems like most of the parts are there.

Dan, congrats on an amazing find!  Not likely you'll ever run into another flybridge San Juan on the water, there aren't many of them.  And the 440 makes it even more unique.  Good luck with it.

Just want to leave you a standing offer ... I'll buy it for 10 times what you paid for it any time you want.
