I've owned my 1992 Excel for years, and 10 days ago a massive pine tree in my yard fell and scored a direct hit on it. Amazingly, I believe the Monster tower saved the boat from being totalled, but the torsion axles on my Venture trailer seem to have collapsed. I've read here and other places that this usually means replacing the entire axle. The torsion axles ride really well, but of course spring axles are cheaper and easier to repair. Is anyone out there strongly anti-torsion axles? Of so, why? Thanks in advance.
P.S., thankfully my Pro-Tec system was unharmed, but I had to order new skins from C&S. |
