I know several of you were wanting more pics.
I am finally getting to tinkering with her properly. I replaced the battery a couple weeks ago, got her fired up and took her for a quick spin. Thought I had an exhaust leak, turned out to be a hole in the riser. Ran ok but, but appeared to be starving for fuel at speed. Checked the vent, cleaned the anti-siphon valve, replaced the riser, did a little painting on the manifolds, changed the impeller, painted the pump bracket, pump and pulley. Fixed a crack in the fiberglass elbow at the riser. I removed the swim ladder, made new teak steps and I am prepping the transom for graphics. Below are some more pics for your browsing pleasure. I am going to go back to full original, Red lettering and blue accent. I sure wish I could find some stencils, it looks like one side is markedly lower than the other and it is going to be tough, or impossible to match the transom stripes on one side as it sits....The fun of it all.
The little boy in the picture is now almost 40 years old. Fun times.

A little progress update. Went with vinyl at least for the moment on the transom to get the lines laid out for the sides. Ladder back, Side stickers, exhaust riser and fixed Correct Craft Emblem.
I am in touch with Al Thomas and hull side graphics coming next!      |

I had it made locally. Fast signs. I am having trouble hearing back from Al Thomas. I know he was very sick. Do you know any other good options for the hull side graphics. IMO mine are not good enough to replicate good enough without a lot of work.
