Does anyone recommend an aftermarket Flame Arrestor (description and model)  for the PCM 5.8L?  such as K&N or other options?  Something that is a drop in replacement.

1991 Nautique Excel with PCM 5.8L distributor ignition.

Thanks
Tim

I used a K&N unit with good success.  Holley also makes ‘em. Go to www.Holley.com and search for “marine flame arrestor” and you will find several options.

Do you need an arrestor with the small tube for the fuel pump overflow line to hook to or does that line hook to your carburetor?

How tall can it be without interfering with the engine box?

Those things could determine what you need to buy
