I need a trailer bad, to replace rusted coupler area cost $600, that's a bit much for a trailer that's not to good in general. I live in Bay areaa California and will travel.

$600. for a coupler? Where are you looking? Try Champion trailer online.
http://www.championtrailers.com/ Buy a coupler and take it to a trailer/rv repair shop and have it installed if you can't do it yourself. |

The coupler area not the coupler, the part the coupler connects to is the problem, rust city and it needs to be cut back to the "Y" in the trailer, I would rather replace the trailer without spending $2500 on a new one.
