I need to purchase a totally new exhaust system for my boat. Does anyone have any opinions on the new dry joint systems?

Replacing my original exhausts in an 1986 nautique sometime this winter as part of a stringer rebuild. What's a dry joint exhaust?

Click on the link for an explanation. With a 351 Ford, you won't really have to make a decision since I don't think anybody makes them for that engine. DenDen can get some for his Chevy, but being Mercruiser or Mercruiser clones, the dry joint risers have 4 inch outlets, so he'll have hose diameter issues, meaning he'll need reducers or 4 inch stuff all the way back and then new exhaust outlets in the transom
