My 2000 Sport Nautique has the Sherwood pump on the Python engine and the pump needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Anyone recommend a raw water pump rebuilder? Is this relatively easy to pull apart and replace all the seals, bearings etc..?
I did find a rebuilt Sherwood $300 or a rebuilt Johnson $150-anyone have an opinion on switching to the Johnson? Either will fit my engine. Thanks!

I bought one from Boise Boat Works on eBay. It is not a rebuilt. I only have about 50 hours on it but so far so good.
