We have a 1961 Correct Craft Atom Skier with an interceptor v8 (pictured). We believe it is a mid 50s y block 256ci, but not certain. Curious if anyone can confirm that from these photos? The boat is several hours away and I wanted to purchase a carburetor rebuild (or new carb) prior to making the trip.

It's a Y block with one carter YH carburetor.

With one carburetor, it's probably the smaller 256 like you think.
