Anyone know the part # for base plate for the 4160 on the pcm 351. The list # returned a discontinued item when talking to Holley Tech. I was just wondering if there was a crossover that would work or if someone knows a rebuilder that can rebush the plate. It is sucking air around the shafts causing lean condition at all rpm ranges. Other than that the carb works fantastic. Any info appreciated. Thanks

I would think any 4160 baseplate would work. I couldnt tell you the part number- but Im sure Holley Tech could.

Thats who I talked to and with the list # on the carb, he told me they were discontinued. I figured any 4160 would work as well. It may be the "marine" label. I think they have sealed shafts.

I know, and thats my point. If anyone knows which 4160 base plates would work (and the part number) it would be Holley. Is that a question you asked them?

He wouldn't recommend another # other than what the book called for. Liability I guess.

I dont know why it would be a liability- as long as you get another marine 4160 base there shouldnt be any safety hazard.

Maybe try calling again and see if you get the same story from a different tech?
