I need to reprop my boat and need a right hand 13" prop X 15 or 16 pitch. Was looking to see if anyone had an extra one that they don't need any more.

Kenny g,
Do they have a website? I have a couple of hours left before I can open it up to find max RPM but I'm pretty sure I'll peg my 6 grand tach with the 13X13 thats currently on it. I can run up to 5500rpm but I'm looking at 5k as a max once it proped correctly. Also what's everyones thought on 4 vs. 3 blade and stainless vs. Nibral |

Saw a brand new 13x17 on E-bay for a decent price. May be a little to much. If you turn a 13x15 5 grand you will be flying well up into the upper 50's. Keep us posted.

I should be testing out the ACME #540 13 x 12
three blade nibral 1" bore from Discount Inboard Marine (SKIDIM.com) this Sat. According to Bill Weeks at ACME, this is the recommended prop for skiing with the 1:1 direct drive on older Correct Crafts (#542 for wakeboarding). He explained the surface area on the three-blades is the same as the four-blade so you have all the advantages but you don't loose anything at the top end, as you might with a four-blade. I'll be conducting a full test comparing my stock three blade from 1979 with the new ACME. Also, I hope to have a 10% off offer from SKIDIM.com up on the site shortly so hold out until next week if you can. Will be testing the OJ four blade soon - stay tuned ... -Keith |

'79,
Might want to check out Delaware Prop down in Muncie. Just had them rework the 13x13 for the '78. Did a really nice job and VERY reasonable. They had a bunch of reconditioned props for sale. No web site & I can't find their phone number right now. |

Don,
My dad used them as well as some friends that have I/O's. I can get their number from the phone book, it's about 20 min from my mom's house. I've got a line on a 13X16 I'm holding out for right know. Running the boat last night I think I'm going to have to change carbs as well. The rejetted 600 is just not breathing enough on the top end, luckly my buddy has a double pump, mech sec. 650 to try out this week-end. |

Keith, while your talking to the ACME people ask them what they would recomend for a modified engine. I'm running about 310-315hp with my 351w. The engine mod's are head work, performer intake, cam, 650 carb(soon) and it's been balanced. I pretty much have it broke in just need to swap carbs and a prop to improve top end performance.

I have a 14 X 15 RH X 1" Austral, brand new in the box, I might part with if you have the clearance.

Don't blame you. I like to find a 13 X 17 myself.
