After running my '68 Nautique I notice that the propeller shaft coupling is very hot to the touch. The transmission is cool, as is the shaft - but the coupling is hot?! Is this normal folks? Could it be an alignment issue? There is no vibration to speak of and the stuffing box is dripping three or four drips per minute...
