No, I want to rub out the top deck and paint the dash area! Plus the frame is loose. I am restoring this boat and want to leave no screw unturned!

I haven't taken mine off yet, but don't you remove the moulding strips off the front bottom of the frame and remove the screws that are hidden behind the moulding strips? The strips unsnap off the frame.

That is how it was on my '89, remove the molding strip and then remove the swrews under the molding. You can do it by yourself but it is much easier with 2 people.
