*SOLD* Call me with questions, although I don't know much of the history of this boat. I know it is NOT a Ski tique !!!! But let me explain my theory on why it says that on the sides! Supposed to have a 351 PCM in place of the original engine. Has the ORIGINAL CC trailer. Will need parts to make run again, like fuel tank, prop, etc. Will need cosmetic items also... WHAT YOU SEE IN PHOTOS IS WHAT YOU GET!! Make good parts boat or restoration project. NO water blisters or crash damage found. Floor appears solid from my walking around on it. ORIGINAL seat with Factory Aluminum brakets, unique to the Mustang. Questions, call me. Paul (980)581-0006
Boat in central NC. I have photos. Boat may be listed on ebay if no interest here. pcarpenter2@carolina.rr.com |

Motor cover...I have one for my 62 classic...but it's a bit to small and would require a base to be fabricated. I know yours will fit cause my 72 mustang has the same one!
Maybe gauges, speedo...hell I don't know , I have two 72's...I like spare parts! Just bring the damn thing to Green Lake and we can all swoop in like vultures and scavange it to bits! motor cover is a need though! Does that thing not have the horns...don't see them....maybe it is a Tique??? The seats on a 72 mustang should be all on wooden frames plus...one bench seat up front...fiberglass vents on bow and stern...looks like a tique! Anyway...parts is parts! |

stang, This is definately a Mustang. For whatever reason, someone along the way used a FACTORY Ski Nautique STENCIL, cut off the NAU and made it say "Ski tique". Notice the little "t" in Tique, that is supposed to be a capital letter!!!! That is paint on the side and has the "R" trademark logo also. Whoever owned it, must have wanted a Ski Tique after they acquired a Mustang. Anyway, the hull id number indicates it is in fact a Mustang. The dash gauges are intact and original. The horn is missing. The vents are gone. The engine cover is original CC, BUT, someone added two cup holders...(I can email you a photo of this later). This hull is in really good shape and the trailer could be restored also.
jeffyl, the Correct Craft emblems on the rear sides are NOT original, they are the black and silver replacements and both are cracked/and or broken, but you can still buy these (black and silver ones). stang, GL is a bit too far for my junk tow vehicles to go, but I will be in Orlando in September. stang, call me tomorrow if you think you might be interested..... |

It's not coming to my place. I've already got too many Paul Carpenter hand-me-downs. Had it shown up 12 months ago, however..... I think Gary needs just one more 72. |

Gary, I am going to take some photos in a little while.
MM, good idea. But Reid won't accept my calls anymore, he doesn't want any more "yard art" from me. Reid.........I know you need this for your collection!!!! Like Gary said, it is a limited edition MustangSkitique....say that 3 times in a row!! Reid, how can I tell if the motor is a 302 or 351 just by looking at it?? And how do I tell the approximate year model and so on and so forth!!??!!?? |

paul to tell if it is a 302 or 351 you can look at the oil pan, they are different and not interchangable and you can also look at the intake 302 is narrower than the 351 due to the smaller block height.
it looks like a 351 in the picture the intake is the wide. |
