For a 1990 CC what part # for a filter? WIX#, NAPA#. What other brands?.Looks like a canster type filter. Anyone know?.

Nope, I believe its this one. Its a Fram CCS1136. If you find an equivalent Wix (or NAPA) number, Id love to know it.

It's the Fram filter,long one.Will try toget a Wix or NAPA #.

Found a Wix part#33436 to replace the Fram CCS1136 fuel/water separator.

I've never cut any fuel filters open but I have cut several oil filters open of various brands. From what I've seen Fram should be on your list of filters to avoid.

my friend who is a engine rebuilder at caterpillar told me napa's wix brand are the number one P.O.S, I dont know, just passing the info on but i remember him telling me they are so restrictive they kick fuel pressure up and oil pressure in many instances, if anybody would know it would be him

I have no knowledge of Wix fuel filters, but that is the first bad thing ive ever heard about their oil filters. Everything Ive read (and Ive read a LOT) indicates that they are one of the best oil filters available.
