Since I am doing major fiberglass work on my '93 SN, I thought I would go ahead and relocate the radio from the glove compartment to the instrument pod like on '94 and newer models. I figured I would have to purchase a new pod that is shaped just a bit different to make room for the radio and then move the throttle contol rearward and cut away a bit of the fiberglass to make clearance for the radio. Well, I am glad I inquired as to the cost of the new pod shell as I was quoted $850.00. WOW! I also was told they are made to order. So, make sure you do NOT break the one you have. Needless to say, the radio stays put.

David, do you think you could relocate under the dash out of waters way or under the throttle control mounted face up? How about in the open pocket under the capt. chair? Lots of room there. Good luck.
