I am looking for an oil pan for a 351w pcm or will an automotive pan work thanks

depends if it is a rear sump pick up or not. A 302 pan won't work so don't even think about it.

the dipstick on a car pan goes though the block! If it is a marine block I dont think it will work!

My Dad needed one for his Shamrock with a PCM 302.He got a nice used one from an engine rebuilder,turns out it it was the same as my HM pan,the dipstick does go thru the pan.We were told it came from a 4x4 Bronco.Maybe a Bronco with a 351 would be what you need.
