Since Keith and Brad are putting some focus on the commonly asked questions section of this site, I thought we might offer some help.

Here are my top 10 commonly asked questions for this site. What are yours?

10. I'm thinking about buying a non-American truck to pull my boat. What do you guys think?
9. Do those PLBC guys really wear pink barefoot suits?
8. Will Jim in Houston ever finish that Chocolate Bayou story?
7. How does JBear get his hair to do that?
6. 79 Nautique, how do you feel about points and condenser?
5. Does ReidP really own all those boats, and if so, does his wife know?
4. What's the weather like back in Ohio?
3. Have you checked that with a GPS?
2. How do I find that sandbar in Florida?
1. Is there something going on between Hollywood and Quinner that we should know about?

100% agree 82. I exchanged email with DavidF a couple of months back. He told me he was doing a major remodel (of course doing all or most of the work himself) and that was filling up his time. Perhaps as summer rolls around David's thoughts will turn back to boating.

27-I use the sites quick search tool but I can't find the threads with the quality hull ornaments.

Isn't that one of the best things about boating. I know it's a G rated forum but it seems sometimes there is more banter about Hollywoods alternative lifestyle (not that there is anything wrong with that) than scantly clad women bracing themselves in the passenger seat as they admire the extra 32 hp over stock you have managed to improve to your finely tuned perfectly propped reverse rotation 351 ford Correct Craft.

Enjoy the weekend,

Hollywood and a fine tunned 351W just doesn't go together, because if it's fine tuned he paid someone to do it for him and he's too cheap for that to happen.

I say good for Hollywood and Quinner. I didn't realize until now that Barefooting has become classified as an alternative lifestyle.

Ok, here's a couple of the most commonly asked question from our overseas CCFans:

34. I'm from Europe. I currently tow my 4000 Kg boat with a 1500Kg Mini Cooper. Anyone using this setup in the States.

35. I've just spotted a rare find here in England. It is a lovely 1977 Ski Nautique. It appears it will need some gel coat repair, and I must admit the graphics and interior are total rubbish. It has been operated strictly in saltwater, but it does appear the old girl has at least a year or two in her before a tear down shall be necessary. Does $50,000 U.S. seem a jammy price to you blokes?

36. G'day Mates. Crikey, I've just realized that the toilet boils downunder spin the opposite direction than those used by you yanks. Do you reckon this explains why our boats back up to the right down here?

Now that my stomach muscles are sore from all the great responces, the answer to #40 is absolutely & honestly none! My wife even stands at the end of our dock and yells at them! So here's a few of the commonly asked questions from the spouses and significant others:

46. I've been skiing for 24 years, and have never missed a summer. But now that our first child is on the way, my wife is saying I need to sell the boat because we won't be using it for a few years - what do you think?

47. I'm new here. I'm wondering if it's just my husband, or did any of you try to teach your wives to drive a boat while yelling at her from the end of the rope?

48. I'm a diehard slalom skier, but now that we have our second child, my wife is insisting that we get a larger boat. She really likes the new Super Duper Air 290. Do you think this will satisfy my slalom cravings while providing the room our family needs?

49. I'm planning to get my new girlfriend into boating. Which do you think I should teach her first, back the trailer into the water, or drive the boat onto the trailer?

50. Is it true what they say - Perfect Pass, so simple even a fiance could use it.

Okay...

These aren't common questions, but common knowledge:
CC's are the best, CC's are fast, CC's are stable,... But crossing in one day Steve...??

But thanks for the 20 on propane...
So, next common questions

58: Who else will pinch in...?
59: Can I have some extra sized CCfan stickers for publicity purposes? (would look good in the Guiness Book of Records)
60: Can anyone access the planning of a propane freighter that will make the crossing around July 2009? (I might need to follow behind that one )
61: How many hours would the engine clock (now 1667) show when arriving on US shores?
62: Will I be able to snatch the "Blue Riband" from the Danish "Cat-Link V" who made the crossing at 41,3 knots...???

(63: Am I out of my freakin' mind to ask questions like this?? ...Bet I know the answer to this one )
