Hey, for anyone looking,
there's a few nice looking early 80's Nauti's on Ebay right now.
'81', '84' & an '86'.
(ohhh, if I only had more garage space and more $$$.)

I bid on the 81 and lost it by $100.00. The 84 reserve price was $9,000.00 (too high). I bought the 86! Finally. Now I have two, a 1982 and a 1986. Anyone want to buy the 82?

No hurry to move it, however it is for sale.

You are correct, Chicago is a long haul from Texas! You should have bid on the 81 anniversary edition on E-bay from about a week ago. Looked like a good deal.

Good Luck shopping!

Brian;

I have been looking for an '82 SN, and I am in the Chicago area (Cary). Is your boat still for sale? Email me at dgwinn390@hotmail.com.

Thanks!

Dave

Hey! Chicago is not far from Texas!!! Texarkana, TX is closer to Chicago than it is to El Paso.

I hauled my '68 from the center of Vermont to Houston on a rusty skimpy CC trailer and I would not trade the adventure for a million dollars. It took 3 days to get it home - my girlfriend rode with me - I kept trying to find water a long the way to put the boat in but she talked me out of it.

Go for it - the farther away the boat the more you love it when you get it home. Free advise from Jim.

Hey Jim: I travelled from Austin to california to pick-up my '93 SN. I left Austin Saturday morning (3:00am) and was home Sunday afternoon (8:00pm).

My advice: If you find a boat you like, just go get it no matter how far away. You will be glad you did.

Brian,

Assuming this boat is in pretty good condition I'll take it off you hands for 4K.

Mark & Dave,

Thanks for the interst in the 82. I did sell it in January.

I will miss this boat. I will also get over it when I start using the 86 I bought to replace it!
