I bought a rebuild kit from ski dim and some of the exhisting part #'s aren't jiveing with whats in the rebuild kit. Carb was working great before, but haven't ever opened it up in the 10 years I've owned it. I thought I would go through it to hopefully eliminate any future headaches as the accelerator pump was starting to drip a liitle. I was wondering if somebody might have some set ups that they have found to work better than just stock. Or maybe I should just go right with the rebuild kit. I realy liked the way it ran before, but hear are the differences.
1) old power valve is a g565 new d25
2) needles old and new 515
3) old seats 97 new 101
4) float settings say to just set parralel to bowl floor, but no heights. Don't now if I'm short a page of the adjustments or not. The front float at parralel is 7/32 and the rear is 3/32, I can't beleive this would be right. Any thoughts? TIA Randy

I've edited this post so maybe it reads more clear, hopeing that is the reason for no replies, and not that I've done something wrong with internet rules. I know I still have a lot to learn on how this all works. I still can't even get my pictures up to the right size.

I have now figured out how to search the archives you guys talk about, and found that even though the rebuild kit sends a 2.5 most switch to a 6.5 PV. I still can't find anything for float heights though. I must be missing a page the diagram shows to check at toe of float but no heights. I guess maybe I should mention it is a 4160 air horn # 50419. I'll keep looking, but if anybody knew the height it would be greatly apreciated. TIA RB
