I Have a 1986 Nautique with PCM. pulled block plugs last fall and now I have gone brain dead cannot find where they all go. One in water pump,found one on port side rear, and cannot find the other one........I feel really stupid....help please...Thanks ------------- starbucksdad |

Drain plugs go in each side of block. One is towards the front, the other toward the rear.

I found the one on the port sise toward rear of engine however I cannot find the other one.....Thanks,wish I had a picture from a manual or something.. ------------- starbucksdad |

Well here is another idea - Pour water into the RWP hose (elevated above engine). Your drain hole will then very obvious. ------------- “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” Ben Franklin |

Carl, The idea of getting water in the engine and seeing where it comes out is a good one. Looking at a picture may not be that clear. The block drains as mentioned, are diagonally opposed. You haven't mentioned the plugs in the exhaust manifolds. Try a search for drain plug on this site. Hey everyone thanks for all the help, as soon as it gets spring again I think I will back her in the river and see where the water comes out. Next year I will replace all plugs as soon as block is drained. Have a great Ski Nautique season... ------------- starbucksdad |
