| I recently pulled my strut off to have it repaired and noticed the cutlass bearing is a fiber type(vesconite). Is this type of bearing still used and who sells them? Thanks Eric |

Vesconite is a white plastic composite and is sold by OJ Propellers. I'm not sure if it's the same thing you're talking about but they are relatively new to the ski boat market: http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=OJ2024 - Vesconite Bearings
