Pete thanks for the intro....
Looks like Karen and I will be on the road again,Louisiana to Wi. is a long way.
At first we thought there was no way, but looks like we will return. Had such a good time and met some wonderful FAMILY,that a return was needed.
Karen has a medical release for at least 90 days from her job, and I may have to FIRE myself for a week or so.
Hoping to see all my old friends and make a bunch of new ones. Boat dr...Billy/Karen

Dr
He and his wife will come to Indy for a few days and visit friends and family for they use to live here before he was transferred to Shreveport.
When will you leaving for GL? I go by way of
I-74 to Bloomington, IL (I-55) and then I-39 thru Madison. I want to be in GL on Thurs afternoon for we will be staying at the Bay View Thurs - Sat nite. We could meet along the way if you like. Just talked to ED and he said no way would his wife let him leave LA for IN without her. She said being from Paris, IL he may look-up old girlfriends - just kidding.

Moj' tried to buzz you yesterday, and had misplaced your #. Pete did not have it and Timmy gave me one but it was not Correct.
Shoot me an E mail and I will add it to my growing list of family ties.......
Yes we are indeed going to make the drive and will expect SUMMER TIME TEMPS......We are leaving early and staying late this year.
Staying at the campground , seems to be the center of all things this year...
See yall in a few weeks......Billy/Karen

Don't forget warmer water. I'll never forget the looks on both Billy's and Karen's faces when they jumped into GL at the sand bar! I think this year they will be wearing wet suits!

This year, we're going in shallow on the other side of the reeds. No waves, warmer water, easier to anchor....
No worries Doc, we'll be in good shape..

That's cool but now Jim's gonna have to dodge boats when he rips through with 5 footers in tow!!

Karen and I will bring our own water this year.Don't know how you guys tolerate that stuff up there.
Once a year is OK, but to do it year after year, i do not understand the mindset.Jbear got the Big picture, MOVE SOUTH.......
Will be equipped to edure the temps this year, either wet suits or a porta-potti...............Billy/Karen

... easier to see all the boats, easier for kids and dogs to rut around, easier to get to land (and a potty), easier to stay away from the reeds (one less thing for Barney to bother us about) and easier to find one's eyeglasses when one said functional idiot forgets to take them off his collar before jumping the water...

Sorry guys, this year five man foot run towboat will have to be Johhny. Neither the BFN or Air will be making the trip. AS the their captain has been manditoried into working. To many guys wanted time off that week, and I am low on the list. First two weeks of July are down weeks for us and we have lots of jobs scheduled for this year. Only two guys got that week off.
I on a more positive note, I am going to try to make it to Shellbyville this year.

I am sure the BFN will be home, as my brother has put dibs on the Air to take it on vacation with them. So I will still be able to goto the lake while my parents and my brother are on vacation.
