I am looking for a 292 or 312 Ford Interceptor right-hand rotation such as CC used in the mid-'60s. It has the Carter side-draft carbs on a low-profile intake manifold and the raw water pump is a Sherwood double-impeller mounted low on the front mount plate. Exhaust manifolds are not important, but would like as complete an engine as possible otherwise.
Will consider trading for a running more current engine depending on condition of the 312.

Art, What are you using it for? Check out the classified on marineengine.com
Also post in their "engine wanted section". They do come up.

I have a '63 SN that came with one when new. Some past owner got rid of it. Since that is what I had in the first SN I ever owned; and it will make the boat more original, that is what I want to put in it. I have a brand-new marinized 302 RH that I bought for it, but now I'm starting to get picky.

Art, I'm glad to see that you're as picky as I am when it come to originality! Keep looking for that 312. How about some pictures? I'll keep my eyes open for one. I'm very attached to the 312 since I have one in my X55.

Art, where are you located? I may have some interest in that 302 if you decide to part with it.
